Youth Tournaments at Sleeping Giant Lanes

6 GM Stop = $30
8 GM Stop = $40

Majors - U20 (8/11/99 - 7/31/04)
Juniors - U15 (8/1/04 or later)

Check-in no later than 8:45 am    
Practice from 8:45 am - 9:00 am

Competition play begins @ 9:00 am

6 games head to head scratch competition for 1st 7 stops with stepladder

8 games head to head scratch competition for the 8th and final stop.

1st stop will start with a quick league meeting to introduce the officers of the league and recap the rules. The first seven stops will consist of 6 games broken down into 3 sets of 2, head to head, scratch matches (30 pins bonus to the winner of each game). Bowlers will be paired off by average for the first match and then by total pins with bonus pins for the remaining matches. The final stop will consist of 4 sets. There are two age divisions. Bowlers born between 8/1/99 and 7/31/04 will be placed in the Major Division. Bowlers born on 8/1/04 or later will be placed in the Junior Division. Rotation of different stepladder types.  Final Stop is a JR GOLD Qualifier. Call or email Terri Johnson if you have any questions

Amendment to Dress Code:  Goal of this dress code is to prepare bowlers for tournament competition in which a professional athletic dress is standard.  Appropriate bowling competition attire must be worn (knee length cargo or walking shorts are allowed but no basketball shorts or yoga pants and skirts must be longer than fingertip length)

18-year-old and older athletes - Must complete the free US Cent for SafeSport online education program in order to compete with participants under the age of 18.  Bowlers will have 45 days from the time of membership or turning 18 to complete the training,  Minor athletes are also able to take SafeSport but not required.
